Field Service Technician — Semiconductor Equipment

Roles & Responsibilities

Assignment Highlights

• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on semiconductor process equipment at a leading Taiwan fab.
• Assist in equipment installation, de-installation, and relocation projects.
• Carry out equipment inspections, part replacements, and functional verification tests.
• Respond to equipment breakdown calls and perform first-line troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare parts records, and service reports.
• Follow all cleanroom entry protocols and EHS standards strictly.
• Work alongside senior engineers and receive structured on-the-job training in semiconductor equipment.

Qualifications

• Willing to be stationed in Taiwan (3-month rotation or 1-year assignment — see below).
• Minimum Diploma or ITE Certificate in any engineering or technical discipline.
• Hands-on equipment maintenance, repair, or installation experience from ANY industry — HVAC, electronics, marine, manufacturing, F&B equipment, printing, or similar.
• Good practical troubleshooting instincts: you don’t just report faults, you fix them.
• Comfortable following technical procedures, schematics, and maintenance checklists.
• Semiconductor experience is NOT required — your technical aptitude and willingness to learn are the criteria.
• A team player who takes pride in doing the job right.
