Roles & Responsibilities
Assignment Highlights
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance on semiconductor process equipment at a leading Taiwan fab.
- Assist in equipment installation, de-installation, and relocation projects.
- Carry out equipment inspections, part replacements, and functional verification tests.
- Respond to equipment breakdown calls and perform first-line troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare parts records, and service reports.
- Follow all cleanroom entry protocols and EHS standards strictly.
- Work alongside senior engineers and receive structured on-the-job training in semiconductor equipment.
Qualifications
- Willing to be stationed in Taiwan (3-month rotation or 1-year assignment — see below).
- Minimum Diploma or ITE Certificate in any engineering or technical discipline.
- Hands-on equipment maintenance, repair, or installation experience from ANY industry — HVAC, electronics, marine, manufacturing, F&B equipment, printing, or similar.
- Good practical troubleshooting instincts: you don’t just report faults, you fix them.
- Comfortable following technical procedures, schematics, and maintenance checklists.
- Semiconductor experience is NOT required — your technical aptitude and willingness to learn are the criteria.
- A team player who takes pride in doing the job right.
